Cherri Jean Dixon, 52, a waitress at Mama’s Daughters’ Diner, died peacefully at her home, May 12, 2014 in Irving, Texas. Cherri was born on September 5, 1961, to the late David Pendleton . and the late Frances “Lo” Mitchell Dobson in McKinney, Texas. Cherri was a life long member of Cornerstone Church in Irving, Texas where she regularly attended. She was a very happy and loving person who always had the heart to give and share, and with out a doubt her friends and family knew she was the best darn cook around. Survivors: husband, Ron Dixon, Texas; daughters, Ashlie Hammons and Brandy Hammons; stepsons, Ryan Dixon and Jacob Dixon; brothers, Randy Greywolf, John Gatley, Robert Gatley; 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with an Inurnment pending at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, Texas Arrangements handled by Guerrero Dean Funeral Home and entrusted to Aaron King, funeral director.
