Shirley Robinson, 77, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 20, 2014, surrounded by family at her home. Shirley was born on December 23, 1936, the daughter of the late Clifton Moses and the late Essie Rudell Owen Moses. The daughter of a railroad employed family, she would live in various locations as her father’s job would move from place to place. She would live for a time in San Diego, California before coming to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She worked several years as a pattern maker and was gifted and skilled in many different crafts. Whenever she could convince someone to accompany her, she would shop the thrift shops and salvage companies for hours. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E. Main Street, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75050. Burial: private. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Survivors: husband of 42 years, Alan Robinson; children, Tony Huff, Sheryl Frank; step-children, Linda Archuleta, Dee Ann Ray, Mike Robinson, Stephen Robinson, Mark, Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Paul Robinson; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Lloyd Moses and his wife Virgie.
