Peter Hale Kauhane, 79, from San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away of natural causes at his home in December, 2014. Graveside service with military honors: 1:15 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. Peter was born on April 23, 1935, the son of the late Eunice Rowe and the late Samuel Lono Kauhane on the big Island of Hawaii, Kapho, Puna district. He served in the US Army from Nov. 1954 until August of 1958. He would also receive a Bachelor or Arts in Social Science from San Jose State University. Besides growing up on the Big Island of Hawaii, he lived many years in California before moving to Arizona. He would retire from Lockheed Missile and Space Company in 1991 where he worked as an analyst in Product Assurance for many years. He is survived by siblings; Valentine (Hawaii) Samuel (Texas) Grace (Hawaii) John (Hawaii) James (California) and Joseph (Ohio); numerous nieces and nephews; great-nephews and great-nieces and many cousins.
