Amy Lou Morgan, a faithful servant of her Lord, took His hand and was reunited with her husband, Roy, Tuesday evening in Fort Worth. Amy was born October 25, 1924 in Alvarado, and met and married Roy Benjamin Morgan. Together they made their life together in Benbrook since 1966. She was the last surviving of 6 children born to James Aaron and Amy Lillian Mackey. Amy loved her family and friends, and as a licensed beautician, especially enjoyed helping women look their best. Roy and Amy were lifelong members of the Church of Christ, both at Benbrook and then Las Vegas Trail. She was predeceased by her husband Roy, parents, and a great-grandson, J.W. Taylor. Funeral: 2:00 PM Sunday at Las Vegas Trail Church of Christ. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment: Monday at Venus Memorial Park. Survivors: Daughters: Donna Crocker of Benbrook, Lynda Williams and husband Gary of Weatherford, Alyce Reach and husband Charles of Weatherford, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, 17 Great-Great-Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
