Maria Raquel Hidalgo, 84, loving wife, mother and grandmother, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the home of her son in Arlington, Texas, with family at her side. Visitation: 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E. Main Street Grand Prairie. Rosary: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Wednesday at 10. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Raquel was born on February 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Jose Lopez and the late Andrea Campo Ventura in Mexico. She was extremely active in her church, and loved serving wherever needed. Her life revolved around her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a godly example of what a woman should be. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Gonzalo Hidalgo; children, Juan Hidalgo and his wife Patricia “Pattie”, Jesus G. Hidalgo and his spouse Gloria, Ricardo Hidalgo and his spouse Letecia “Letty”, Alma Hidalgo Ramirez and her spouse Margarito; grandchildren, Letecia Hidalgo, Edgar Ramirez, Valarie Ramirez, Richie Hidalgo, Aaron Ramirez, Karolina Hidalgo, Monica Hidalgo, Xavier Hidalgo and Baby Hidalgo. Also by her siblings, Elvitari Chavez, Martha Olvera, Enrique Ventura, Carlos Ventura; the mother of her granddaughter, Lupe Orozco.
